Fixed blade external louvres
Acoustic louvres - For certain areas of external louvre applications, particularly in plant rooms, it may be necessary to consider the use of acoustic louvres.
Application
Acoustic louvre units are available as single bank (150/ 300mm deep) or double bank 600mm deep) and are manufactured to maximum width and height sizes. Where the required louvre size exceeds either standard width or height dimensions louvres will be manufactured in multiples to achieve the required size.

Construction
Louvres are manufactured from mill finish aluminium or pre-galvanised sheet. Powder coated finish to BS range is available.

Acoustic infill is mineral wool protected by facing tissue packed to a density of 45kg/m3. Infill material is inert, non hygroscopic, non-combustible and vermin proof.

Finish
Bird screen mesh is supplied as standard with acoustic louvre units.

Fixing
Louvres generally need independent fixing/support to the structure.
